WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
• SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE WHOLE AREA
• PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOGS ONLY ON A LEASH
• CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT
• PLEASE, DO NOT FEED OUR HORSES WITHOUT PREVEIOUS CONSULTATION, EVEN IN THE COOP
• Long pants and closed toe shoes are required. Helmet is mandatory (you can borrow it for free).
• Riding times and events must be arranged in advance.
• We organize all types of events and we are ready and willing to meet all your requests, as far as our options will allow. Do not be afraid to ask.
• We offer horse riding in the arena, horse rides for all kinds of riders, one or two days horse riding, long weekends for adults, children’s camps (entire holiday), regular running of Riding Club (36 children), participation in horse races and various seminars, short term and daylong kindergartens and schools visits, children from suburban camps and organization caring for foster families visits, we also carry children during events, provide horses for wedding photographing, we organize club races and we provide space for lure coursing (dog racing) …
• All types of rides are in a minimum number of 3 horses and can be ordered by individuals, pairs or groups of persons. Date and time could be fixed in advance (see „ordering system“).
• If ordering a ride for a group with a minimum number of 3 people you can attend it in a „closed group“ and fix the date and time in advance. The maximum number of horses is 10. The client has 1 ride or 1 pedestrian leader for free, if he order 7 and more horses. In case that a person wants to order „closed group“ ride just for one or two people, then a single price is 1000 CZK (as for 3 people). It is possible to arrange the date of the ride.
• There is a possibility of a pedestrian leader for those who are afraid to ride a horse, but want to try it, as well as for children under 12 years (mandatory). Pedestrian leader goes next to a particular horse and rider, advises how to control the horse, leads the horse when needed, and helps control the horse. He leads the horse on a leash in case of any problems. For every leader it is needed to pay extra 100 CZK.
• The price for an individual ride or jump lesson (for 1 or 2 riders) is 550 CZK per person. This lesson is possible to have in the morning. Date could be arranged – ride could be at any time.
• We do not rent horses without a leader.
• It is possible to pay the riding-school services as well as lunging and hourly rides with season ticket at a discounted price. Season ticket is transferable.
• 10 hours season ticket must be spent within 12 months after purchase! If not, the rest of the hours will, unfortunately, expire. We accept payments against the invoice or on the account.

CHILDREN RIDING CAMPS
– For beginners and advanced young riders
– Accessible to all from 10 to 20 years of age
– The camp is focused on teaching how to ride a horse as well as on walking rides for beginners
– Riding 1-2 times a day
– Daily one hour horse ride, saddling and cleaning the horses, feeding and cleaning up after the horses, theories about horses, riding competitions, campfires, swimming etc. are part of the camp.
– Dates:
– 1st to 4th batch is ten-day and is for girls, rides are once a day
– 5th batch is ten-day and it is only for advanced riders – girls, rides are 2 times a day
– 6th batch is seven-day and is for all types of riders, for boys and girls, rides are 1-2 times a day
– Accommodation in small cabins and in tents on wooden platforms
– Jumping hours for advanced riders are included in all batches
– Cabin is for 24 people, tent is for 8 people, in 5th and 6th batch only cabins are available
– Participation of children from the whole republic
– Applications could be sent to: psani@rancpohoda.cz or done in person in Riding School Pohoda from 1st of November. The camp price depends on date of payment, length and focus of each batch.
RIDING CLUB
– For children from 10-20 years of age
– We have 2 riding clubs with maximum capacity of 18 members
– Three months membership fee is 1500 CZK, to be paid in advance
– Advanced beginners, thus children who can ride by themselves in walk and trot in the riding arena are accepted. This means children who have undertook several lunge lessons for beginners, regardless whether in Riding School Pohoda or in another riding club.
– Riding Club has holiday from 01. 07. to 31. 08.
– First riding club runs from April to June and in September on Fridays from 4 pm to 7 pm, from October to March on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 am.
– Second riding club runs from April to June and in September on Mondays from 4 pm to 7 pm, from October to March on Sundays from 9 am to 12 am.
– At temperature below -10 °C, during hard frost or steady rain, duration of the session is shortened by 1 hour, theory is discussed and horses are cleaned
EQUINE STATION
– We offer short-term horse stabling (in the coop) for travellers
– Possibility of sleeping in a tent or in a cabin, shower, toilet
– Basic simple facilities
– Refreshment facility, half board
– Only during warm months
– Dates and details as negotiated
LONG-TERM STABLING
– For long-term stabling we have 4 boxes or place for 2-3 horses in the shelter with a coop
